| THIS eerie image of a man in period costume peering out of a castle has spooked ghosthunters. The snap, which shows a figure in a “ruff” collar looking out from a castle, came first in an online poll for the world’s most ghoulish photo. The search, which attracted more than 250,000 votes on scienceofhauntings.com, was led by leading sceptic Professor Richard Wiseman. Prof Wiseman, a psychologist from Hertfordshire University, said of the photo on the left: “It is certainly very curious.” Christopher Aitchison, who took the pic at the 14th Century Tantallon Fortress near North Berwick, East Lothian, said: “Staff have verified there were no sinister dummies in period costume or historical re-enactments going on that day.” | |

Close up it looks like it could be a rock, or part of the brickwork that's caught the light in such a way to make it look like a face. On the other hand, I'm assuming this is a place that attracts visitors, so it could also be an actual person. I just saved the pic Dave and zoomed in, simple I know, but that's me | |
