Hi Dave,
Mine is that after you die you aren't restricted by living in the physical reality that we are in while we are alive, consciousness without a body i suppose you could call it and that could lead to being able to move in dimensions we currently cannot detect. I can't believe in heaven in the sense that theres a paradise waiting for everybody that behaves themselfs or follows a set of rules, mainly because I don't believe in anybody's idea of God that I've heard so far.
It is quite a comforting idea but for me it isn't true, alternate dimension/ reality is more plausible for me, what I would really like to know is how a spirit can physically affect objects and people in this reality but that's a whole other topic.
I think a person's faith could play a part in what they experience after they have passed on but I think that's more to do with the law of expectation or some sort of collective idea that could be brought into reality.
Maybe heaven is not a universal thing that everybody would experience the same way but is more of a personal thing, short answer is I lean on the alternate consciousness/ reality side of things rather than the spiritual.
What's your concept of heaven?
